Our client is a leading wholesaler of commercial textiles within the Australian market. The Company is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual as an Account Manager based in NSW with regular travel to manage the ACT market.
This position is responsible for driving sales, seeking new business opportunities, and strengthening and further developing existing client relationships.
The market sectors within their industry are:  office fit-out · hospitality · healthcare · aged care · retirement living · education · transport. You will be working across multiple levels within each sector, which are inter-related, from the point of specification – through the tender process – to order.
The client base consists of Architectural and Interior Design companies, Furniture Manufacturers, Office Furniture Retailers and End User Clients.
To be considered for this role you must have:
  • know how to find and close sales,
  • attention to detail,
  • be disciplined to record accurate information in the client management system,
  • be able to work within an individual budget,
  • be confident using technology including Microsoft Office,
  • have excellent organisational skills and time management, and
  • be able to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
You must be energetic, have an outgoing personality, be articulate, and have an ability to build strong relationships driving projects through to successful outcomes. You must also be a team player as well as someone who can manage multiple administration tasks including forecasting with accuracy and efficiency, always getting the job done.
