AWAHS is a well-respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation. They employ over 50 staff including Doctors, Dentists, Allied Health Practitioners and a wide range of program-based team members across several sites.

We are now looking for someone who will lead and develop a HR strategy that ensures AWAHS's people and culture are aligned to the strategic objectives of the organisation. This includes fostering a positive organisational work culture built around the principles of engagement, motivation, high performance, accountability, innovation and continuous quality improvement.

This new position will be responsible for leading HR activities including:
  • Providing key HR Support and Advice
  • Workforce Planning
  • Employee and Workplace Relations
  • Performance Management and Coaching
  • HR Policy and Strategy Development
  • Recruitment and Selection
