A local Construction company is looking for a Contract Administration Officer / Junior Estimator.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to project managers and site supervisors to ensure the smooth and professional running of the construction activities for both commercial and residential projects.
Support for Project Managers/Site Supervisors:
  • Cert III or completion in Carpentry is highly desirable.
  • Preparation of and ongoing management of tender lists and contractor contact details
  • Sending out and follow up of tenders for quotation;
  • Preparation of Quote folders, Job Folders for both office and site, OH&S site folders, Contractor SWMS;
  • Ensure all OH&S processes and documentation are up to date and in line with industry legislative requirements;
  • Preparation of contracts;
  • Attend client and site meetings as required;
  • Take minutes of meeting and distribute to attendees;
  • Preparation and submission of planning/building permits;
  • Managing processes for service connections for client projects as required per individual jobs;
  • Processing purchase orders and work orders as directed;
  • Assist with Programs and letting schedules for onsite works;
  • Ensure contractors provide relevant plans and as built plans for client at handover;
  • Preparation of handover folders at completion of projects including getting compliance certificates from relevant contractors;
  • Manage & track retentions for relevant projects;
  • Maintain supplier pricing and product offers;
  • Ensure site signs are in stock and available for new projects and that they are erected on site appropriately;
  • Ability to assist with estimating on tenders under the direction of the head estimator;
  • Communicate with contractors and suppliers on tender submissions;
Administration & General Duties:
Assist in the development and ongoing improvement of all SOP’s, templates and office procedures to ensure standardisation across the organisation.
