We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to become a key member of our client’s design team. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for the management of your own design projects from the initial brief through to final completion. Attention to detail, due diligence and the ability to problem solve is essential.
This role is crucial to the functionality of the design studio and you will have responsibilities across design, pre-press and production. A significant part of the role is maintaining client relationships as you will also be interacting with clients.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Design: Complete broad-ranging graphic design work such as full page newspaper advertisements, print materials and merchandise, as well as contribute to brand-development projects (e.g. creating logos and preparing style guides).
  • Creative Thinking: Involvement in key brainstorming sessions, both production and campaign related.
  • Project Management: Drive your project to ensure it meets client criteria and deadline. This includes liaising with clients to understand requirements.
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating a high degree of creativity and diversity.
  • 2-4+ years experience in a commercial graphic design role or equivalent freelance experience.
  • Expert user of Adobe CS InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Distiller & MS Office.
