Fire Alarm Technician

Our client is a privately owned and operated company in Wodonga that has been established in the region for over 20 years. They specialise in providing design, installation, service and maintenance of an extensive range of Fire Protection Systems to a variety of clientele.   

Due to continued growth they are expanding their Service and Maintenance division in the Albury / Wodonga area and as such require a Fire Alarm Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas.
  • Fire detection and Alarm system fault finding, service work and preventative maintenance
  • Programming of panels
  • Project work, Installation and minor works experience
  • Working knowledge of Australian Standards regarding Fire protection
  • Testing of Panels as well as Exit and Emergency lights including Monthly, Six Monthly and Annual routines
Candidates with previous experience in related industries like telecommunications, security systems or CCTV could easily be suitable for this position and are encouraged to apply. Preferred Licences
  • Red / White Card
  • EWP ( Scissor or Boom )
  • Open Cabling Licence / FPAS
  • A-Grade Electrical Licence ( Preferred but not essential )
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current Working With Children's Check and National Police Check or ability to Obtain
