This position with a large Not For Profit community agency will lead the Finance team with varied responsibilities including the preparation of financial accounts and reconciliations, month end closure and variance analysis and budget preparation.

You will be responsible for preparing the monthly BAS, maintaining the fixed asset register as well as daily bank reconciliations and managing the accounts receivable process.

You will also support the Executive and Managers with in-depth analyses of financial and customer data to help make strategic recommendation based on identified trends and risks.
  • Degree in Accounting, and demonstrated experience working at a similar level.
  • High level computer skills in Excel
  • An ability to be proactive and challenge the status quo and drive process efficiency improvements
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Deal well with ambiguity and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with limited direction and set practices
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
