Part Time Qualified Xero Bookkeeper

Our client in Baranduda is seeking a Part-Time bookkeeper to assist the Director with all facets of bookkeeping and administration within a small but busy home-based Xero only bookkeeping practice to ensure client compliances are maintained.
In this role you will perform a wide range of bookkeeping duties (accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation of accounts, payroll processing and compliances, maintain data for other business specific reporting and compliance such as TPAR and franchise reports) for a wide variety of small business clients in a variety of industry types (building and construction, retail, manufacturing, professional, legal and financial services etc) using a wide range of programs and modern technology. Maintain customer relations - liaise with clientele and other parties (accountants, insurers, work cover etc) in a polite and professional manner as well as provide clerical and admin support to the Director as requested.
To be successful in this role you will have the below skills and experience
  • Must be proficient in the use of Xero accounting software.
  • Excellent computer skills – Office Suite – Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to use modern technology (apps, cloud based programs)
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to move between industry types and gain an understanding of specific requirements of different businesses.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Able to maintain current systems and procedures
Salary will be based on experience.
