 The role
  
Working as part of the Operations Team, our client currently has exciting opportunities for Production Operators to join their Industry Leading Organisation. 
These positions provide operational excellence to the Team Leader to ensure safe, efficient and effective running of the Plant.
 
The Factory is a 24hr/day, 7 day per week operation, operating on rotating shifts.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Safety: Actively contribute to a workplace culture where OHS&E is given the highest priority in all activities
  • Production: Ensure safe and effective operation of all equipment in order to meet daily schedule and targets
  • Quality: Perform regular Quality Assessments and Reporting
  • Team: Work in accordance with all department procedures and company policies to promote a strong team culture
  • 5S: Ensure compliance to all housekeeping standards 
 
 Skills, knowledge and experience requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Natural Leader
  • Previous experience in a production environment highly regarded
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Good understanding of GMP, 5S and OHS&E practices
  • Current Forklift licence (essential)
