Cook/Food Service Assistant

Our Client based in Benalla has an opportunity for a motivated and suitably qualified person to work in our state of the art commercial kitchen, with the support of our enthusiastic catering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare food and drinks for individual residents.
• Manage quality, food served is appropriate for the resident’s dietary requirements.
• Assist with the delivery of meals and the collection
• kitchen cleaning including washing equipment etc.
• Assist in other areas of food preparation as required.
• Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families.

About You:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery required
• Experience in aged care cooking
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Motivated with ability to use own initiative
• Able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Availability 8am - 2pm, Mon - Sun, fortnightly roster
