Cellar / Logistics Manager

Our client a leading contract wine bottling facility is seeking a Cellar Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of its wine logistics, storage and bottling operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery, blending, and handling of bulk wine.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Technical Manager, this leadership position plays a critical role in coordinating all cellar functions. You’ll be responsible for managing wine receivals, maintaining cellar standards, driving compliance with OH&S and quality systems and leading a dedicated team of professionals.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
•           Oversee all bulk wine movements and ensure all paperwork, tank allocation, and delivery timelines are met.
•           Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
•           Liaise with external wineries, winemakers, and transport providers to coordinate wine deliveries.
•           Manage wine blending and formulation according to customer specifications.
•           Monitor cellar records, equipment condition, and staff training documentation.
•           Maintain a safe and clean and safe working environment
•           Coordinate delivery to ensure bottling schedules are met.

•           Proven experience in a leadership role within a wine production, beverage, or similar manufacturing environment.
•           Proactive approach to problem solving, with a mechanical and technical aptitude.
•           Excellent communication internally and externally.
•           A commitment to quality, compliance, and production.
•           Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
