An exciting opportunity exists to lead a member-based, not-for-profit organisation that advocates for investment, growth, and long-term sustainability across the Echuca Moama region.
This role is ideal for a dynamic and engaging leader who can inspire collaboration, strengthen relationships across government, business, and community, and deliver meaningful outcomes for the region.
For more than a decade, this independent, member-driven organisation has championed initiatives that deliver positive and enduring contributions to the community.
Guided by a strong vision for a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable region, it works with stakeholders at local, state, and federal levels to address challenges, drive innovation, and seize opportunities that support economic, social, and cultural development.
Reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors.
Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s 2026–2029 Strategic Plan.
Drive stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and collaboration with members, government, and industry.
Represent the organisation publicly across forums, media, and events.
Build membership value and growth, securing revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, and grants.
Oversee governance, financial performance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will be a values-driven leader with:
A tertiary qualification in business, economics, public policy, regional development, or similar (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated success at a senior level in strategy delivery, stakeholder engagement, or regional/economic development.
Strong communication and advocacy skills with the ability to influence across multiple sectors.
Experience working with or alongside government, industry, and community organisations.
A genuine connection to the Echuca Moama region and commitment to face-to-face engagement.
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, MPA, Regional/Economic Development)
Experience in membership-based organisations, driving member value and trust.
