Events Coordinator – Major & Community Events (ACT)

About the role
Coordinate events end-to-end—from intimate briefings and community activations to large, high-profile programs. Manage logistics, suppliers and stakeholders to keep everything on time, on brand and on budget.


What you’ll do
  • Plan and deliver events end-to-end: scope, schedules, run sheets and approvals
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, partners, suppliers and venues
  • Manage AV, staging, catering, signage/wayfinding and site plans
  • Oversee on-the-day operations: briefings, FOH, crowd flow and pack-down
  • Track budgets, POs and invoices; report on outcomes and insights
  • Drive WHS/risk planning (incidents, weather, traffic) and permits

What you’ll bring
  • Forward-thinking, solutions-focused mindset; calm under pressure
  • 3+ years coordinating small and large-scale events
  • Excellent stakeholder management and supplier coordination
  • Strong organisation: budgets, timelines and competing priorities
  • Solid WHS/risk awareness and confident on-site operations
  • Tertiary qualification in Events/Comms (advantageous)
