Are you passionate about getting more of our community moving, more often? Do you love bringing together stakeholders to deliver great programming?
We need you to lead non-aquatic programming and focus on getting our community restarted in sporting programs as we all move out of COVID restrictions.
Ideally with experience in gymnastics, social netball, basketball, soccer or similar, you understand fixturing, competition cycles and the administration of sports programming.
A solution-focused problem solver, you thrive in a busy leisure centre environment and are confident to lead a team through continuously improving our communities’ experiences. You will have a strong understanding of our customers’ needs, efficient program delivery and an openness to try new and innovative approaches.
Your strong background in sports administration and management will help support the team, and your attention to detail will ensure that our accounts, bookings and invoicing arrangements are accurate and timely. Your friendly manner and clear communication skills will ensure our users, customers and staff team are satisfied.
Key Selection Criteria
- A strong understanding of active programming and social sport
- Understanding of the requirements of a successful gymnastics program and promotion
- An understanding of customer & parent expectations regarding programming
- Ability to monitor budgets, develop rosters and delivering successful training to a team
- Ability to be an effective leader & coach of staff and promote the continuous improvement of programs

The salary is between the range of $56,671 - $60,880 per annum and this position is part time
with 25 hours per week. There is opportunity to apply for other roles within the team to increase weekly hours if desired.
This position is available immediately as casual, and will transition to Council on 1st November.
