Warehouse Manager

Our client supports Australia’s power industry through the supply of a product range that covers the entire project lifecycle from building through to maintenance across both high voltage transmission and distribution networks. Summit Power’s clients include government departments, rail, construction, engineering and power pole designers. As part of their team they expect you to be dedicated to getting the job right, on time and hassle free.

They are seeking a Warehouse Manager who has experience in overseeing warehousing logistics. The role requires a strong communicator who is capable of delegating responsibilities with a genuine desire to lead a team toward maximum productivity and efficiency. This role reports directly to the General Manager.

Critical Skills and Attributes required to be successful in this role include:

  • Able to tackle complex, simple and important projects.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Management experience.
  • Customer focused.
  • Experience with dealing with government contracts.
  • Experience with risk management procedures and WHS.
  • Superior time management.
  • Self-starter with the capacity to work autonomously and exercise initiative where required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to be confidential and work in sensitive environments.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Train, lead and support teams.
  • Team building and engagement.
  • Available and motivated
  • Organised and tidy
  • Patient and calm approach
  • Microsoft office suite, database packages.
  • Commercial Acumen
  • Background in Warehousing and transport and Electrical is preferred



Qualifications and training required

  • Warehousing Certificate
  • Elevated work platform
